About HealthInsurance.help
HealthInsurance.help works out what health coverage will cost you, using the same tables the IRS, CMS and state Medicaid agencies use. Every calculator shows its arithmetic line by line, so you can check it against your own paperwork.
It is a private website, not affiliated with HealthCare.gov, CMS or any government agency. It is not a state exchange or a Medicaid agency, and it is not an insurance company or agency. It doesn’t sell insurance, recommend plans or decide anyone’s eligibility. When you’re ready to apply or compare plans, do it free on HealthCare.gov or your state’s exchange.
Where the figures come from
Each number on the site is taken from the agency that sets it and dated to the plan year it applies to: the IRS applicable percentage tables, the HHS poverty guidelines, CMS plan and premium files, the Department of Labor’s COBRA rules, and each state’s Medicaid limits and exchange announcements. The sources and methods page lists every one with the date we checked it.
When a figure isn’t published yet, the page says so. For example, CMS had not released 2027 county premiums when the calculators were last updated, so they use 2026 prices and say so on every result.
Corrections

Who is behind it
HealthInsurance.help is an independent website. It earns nothing from the site today; the how we make money page says what that means.
